New UW Solo Build or "After-Update Solo Uw Build"
This build is not exactly new, it uses the known 55hp build with some changes.I'm surely not the first one to make this build but i desided to add it here anyway because i never saw it anywhere else .I tried many UW solo builds and always the Grasping Darknesses killed me..i got frustrated and then this build just came up to my mind. This is my first thread ever so... With this build i have been able to solo the next enemies in UW :
Bladed Aatxes
Grasping Darknesses
Smites (of course )
Dying Nightmares
Coldfire Nights or those ele spiders (can't remember the name atm) i can't solo...yet. I haven't tried the other enemies yet at all just focused to smitekilling But anyway here comes the stats:
Healing Prayers 9
Smithing Prayers 14
Protection Prayers 13
Divine Favor 10
Illusion Magic 7
You need Ascetic's armor (with smithing "hat") for the max energy and 5superior monk runes to take your hp down to 105.
You'll also need -50hp cesta, totem axe or rajazan fervor AND also healing staff which you can find from collector Mag Ironwall from Witman's Folly just outside Port Sledge. You need perfect staff wrapping of enchanting (20%) and perfect insightful staff hear (+5energy) for the staff.
Skills:
Protective Spirit
Healing Breeze
Shield Of Judgement
Ancestor's Visage
Sympathetic Visage
Mending
Essence Bond
Balthazar's Spirit
Now you should be ready for The Underworld (if i haven't forgotten something O_o)
When you enter UW first cast Mending,Essence Bond and Batlhazar's Spirit.
You should be using the healing staff...your hp is 105 but don't worry it will do just fine. Cast Protective Spirit and SV or AV BEFORE aggroing the aatxes left from you. When Dying Nightmare pops up you need to kill it with your staff fast...if it seems that you can't kill him in time...i suggest you run and fast .The Nightmare will die when he steals your enchantments so you don't need to worry about it again. Hide behind the ghost so aatxe won't attack you. When you have full energy cast mending, essence and balthazar's spirit again.
Then use AV or SV and aggro the 3 (or sometimes 2) aatxes. Wait a bit so av or sv will steal all the energy from aatxes so they can't interrupt you. Then cast healing breeze. At this point av or sv comes useful...when other ends you can cast the other one so the enemies will constantly lose all adrenaline and energy so you don't need to fear interruptions. Now cast Shield of Judgement to deal damage. REMEMBER TO ATTACK ONE OF THE ENEMIES ALL THE TIME...so it dies faster and WON'T FLEE EVEN IN LOW HP. Group of 3 or less enemies never flee but if you aggro more than 3 then the others that you are not attacking will flee at low hp when taking damage from SoJ. Killing Aatxes can take some time but you will make it. Just remember to keep av and sv always up and use protection, breeze and soj always when possible. When you have 1 or 2 aatxes left you won't need breeze but you can use it if you want. After killing the first group remember to check the left corner because there might be nightmare. Kill it with your staff and continue. Again before aggroing the second group of aatxes remember to cast protective spirit and av or sv before fight...you can also cast healing breeze before aggroing if you feel safer that way. After killing the aatxes check the area for mares and kill if found. Next kill the 2 aatxe that are standing up the stairs. After that kill the remaining aatxes the same way but beware of the nightmare pop up. I have been pretty lucky a couple of times:nightmare has stolen all my enchantments before i could kill it but i have had just enought time to cast protective spirit before aatxes have attacked me. Try it if you want a little extreme Anyway when you have killed all the aatxes and mares in the first chamber it's time to take the quest from the ghost.
Now you need to change your weaponset to Rajazan's Fervor/Totem Axe and -50hp cesta. Cast protective spirit and av/sv +healing breeze and aggro the first group of graspings. The first thing they will try to do is interrupt you BUT now they lose all their energy really fast because of sv/av and can't interrupt at all (or steal energy with "fear me"-skill). Use Soj and keep protecion, breeze and av/sv up all the time...also cast SoJ as often as possible. Always keep attacking one of the enemies for faster killing. They should die to the second SoJ if everything is done right. Kill all the darknesses in the hall and then go to the right for the smites. On yor way there you'll meet more aatxes and grasping and sometimes also dying nightmares. THIS IS IMPORTANT...if dying nightmare does spawn and it/they partols with the graspings i suggest the novice players will skip them and don't aggro them at all. It's not always stupid for more experienced players either. But if you still want to kill them you should use your staff to do it. Cast spells before starting to kill the mare because the graspings will attack you when you attack the mare. If you are lucky you can kill the mare..if not.. But hey i said you should skip them =D You can aggro all the enemies in the hall at the same time if you want but you can also do it by only aggroing one group at a time.
Next you will meet some Smites (finally)
REMEMBER TO SWITCH BACK TO TOTEM/RAJAZAN'S AND -50HP CESTA IF YOU HAVE USED STAFF TO KILL MARE OR FOR SOME OTHER REASON. Before aggroing cast protection, breeze and sv or av. Then let them attack you some time so they lose their energy and can't use spells. Then cast SoJ to deal damage and remember to keep av/sv up all the time. Also remember to attack one of them until it dies. After second SoJ they should be all dead.
When you keep going a dying nightmare might pop up...use your staff to kill it and don't forget to switch back to totem/rajazan's and -50hp cesta. DON'T TRY TO KILL THE COLDFIRE NIGHTS...NOT POSSIBLE WITH THIS BUILD . And they have never dropped anything good anyway so why bother
Find all the smites from the area and never ever aggro coldfires. Always when killing smites remember to attack one so it won't flee when it's hp gets down...this way you can kill all the smites one by one. Remember to keep your spells up all the time and avoid coldfires. If you ,however, have to aggro the coldfires cast protecion and RUN. And if you are in the middle of them i suggest you avoid Maelstorms because they will interrupt your spells. After killing all the smites you can either resign if you want or go all the way back to the first hall...you will find more graspings and aatxes and some dying nightmares...kill them by using the same tactics i have told earlier.
I hope I remembered to say everything i was planning to say.
Anyway good luck farming I really hope i didn't forget anything.

No it's not a crime, but I think its quite wrong to call it a "new" UW solo build..

btw people couldn't have used builds EXACTLY like this since the birth of 55hp monk because factions was not in stores yet and if this build is so old as you say why it's nowhere else to be found then O_o???
AND the quide to hit one of the enemies so they won't flee for SoJ (update -.-) is new one though it's not hard to find out...

Because there are other better, easier builds out there... Why do you think people are insulting you? Learn to take critique, please..

you are propably right..but i must ask..why people complain when the build works...i know there are easier and faster and better builds but i made this one...and it works for me.Sorry if i added NEW word there if someone has already made this build but i never saw it anywhere or anyone talking about it so why not adding that NEW there..

A suggestion for your "build"
Don't use a staff, use a customized Smiting/Prot wand (I use a Wayward Wand for +5>50 energy), that way you can still keep your -50 equipped and you won't need Healing Breeze up all the time.

good idea and it works i'm sure of it but i use staff for more energy AND for that 20% longer enchantments...it makes sv and av last longer...just long enought so when another ends you can cast the other one...but thanks for your reply i'll try it out and see how it works

I actually haven't seen a monk solo build using SV/AV so I would say, good job on the build m8. Don't take those flamings to serious.

So if I take the 55 build, copy and paste it and add an extra period at the end, does that make it my "new" build?

Maybe he should remove the "new" but as he sais, it's his new build. And for me it's also new since I haven't seen a Mo/Me uw solo build using prot SV and AV. So guys, stop flaming.

Yeah, ever since factions ive been thinking about this type of build. Thanks for the post.
2 quick comments on your build and language
Use faces less, it detracts from the fact that you worked on this and made an effort to post it on the forums
also, perhaps lower your protection to 11ish since you are running a 55 build and boost your illusion magic, play with your attributes. I've found that i can run PS perfectly fine on 16-18 seconds
